Past president of his community association and having served on the parish council at church, Scott is a recognized real estate expert in Maryland's District and Circuit Court's. He is active in local and state politics, often engaging local and national radio talk show host's about issues that effect our daily lives. Scott relaxes by either playing the piano, something that he taught himself how to do, or riding his Harley-Davidson with his wife, who also rides her own Harley. He has written many songs and recorded them at professional studio's in the Baltimore-Washington area, and also in Nashville. He received a contract on two of his songs; one from a very prominent music publisher in Nashville referred to as the "Mayor of Music Row", who discovered Randy Travis and Kenny Chesney. The other publisher resurrected Kenny Rogers career with the hit  song , "Buy Me A Rose" which was written by a friend of Scott's. This publisher is currently pitching Scott's latest to many prominent artists in New York, Nashville and L.A.  Another song that Scott wrote received air play on several commercial FM radio stations in Baltimore, and on hundreds of stations nationwide. Scott is a member of the Blue Knights, a motorcycle club of active, retired and former law enforcement officers. The chapter that Scott belongs to does charitable work for the Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital. He was a founding member of and chaired for the first three years, the corporate fund raising committee for the Ride Across Maryland. This is a motorcycle event founded by Dick Gelfman of WJZ TV. During the time that Scott served, this group raised nearly $400,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The level of committment and involvement that Scott has demonstrated in his personal life, is what you can expect from him professionally.
